The next big narrative on bitcoin native chain would be Bitcoin Runes. Established in September 2023 by Casey Rodarmor, the original developer of the Bitcoin Ordinal system, Runes took its inception just after Bitcoin halving event when it launched at Block 840,000 in April 2024.
After Bitcoin halving, bitcoin and whole crypto market is slightly under bearish trend. But there is another narrative shaping-up & built under the umbrella of Bitcoin Runes. Community is actively participating on Runes inscribing platforms such as Luminex, Unisat, OKX, BTCtool, etc. But it seems that coinmarketcap shows very less interest in runes marketcap.
CoinMarketCap should add more tickers of Bitcoin Runes. Till now very few tickers are showing under Runes category on Coinmarketcap platform, which does not justify / reflect the actual marketcap of Bitcoin Runes.
